Your membership

You buy a Wamemba me membership from Apple or Google, so you manage it and cancel it with them, and ask them first for a refund. If something is wrong with Wamemba me itself, tell us too. On iPhone, cancel at least 24 hours before it renews to avoid the next payment; on Android, cancel before the renewal date. Deleting the app doesn’t cancel it.

On iPhone

  1. Open the Settings app and tap your name.
  2. Tap Subscriptions, then Wamemba me.
  3. Change your plan, or tap Cancel Subscription.

Or open your App Store subscriptions. For a refund, go to reportaproblem.apple.com.

On Android

  1. Open Google Play and tap your profile picture.
  2. Tap Payments and subscriptions, then Subscriptions, then Wamemba me.
  3. Change your plan, or tap Cancel subscription.

Or open your Google Play subscriptions. Google decides refunds: ask for one from your Google Play order history.

If your membership ends, every saying stays yours to read.

Restore purchases

On a new phone, or after reinstalling, open Wamemba me and tap I already have Wamemba me on the first screen. Or tap the cog, then Restore purchases. Use the same Apple ID or Google account that bought the membership (not one shared with you through Family Sharing). Your membership comes back, and so do your sayings. It can take a minute.

If both phones have an up-to-date Wamemba me, and your old phone was used in the last week or another parent keeps sayings with you, your new phone shows a 4-digit number. Open Wamemba me on the old phone and type it, or ask the other parent to, and your sayings follow. If the old phone is lost, they come by themselves after 7 days (when no other parent is in your family). If two people share one Apple ID or Google account, the membership follows whoever restored last, but your sayings stay with your own family.

To keep your sayings safe on a new phone even without a membership, tap the cog, then Continue with Apple or Back up with Google.

Download your sayings

Your sayings are yours to take with you at any time, whether or not you’re a member. Tap the cog, then Your data, then Download your sayings: one file to keep, with a copy to read and a copy another app can read.

No longer have the phone? Email hello@wamemba.me and we’ll send you a copy within a month, usually much sooner.

Delete your account

You can delete your account and your family’s sayings at any time. How to delete your account says how, what goes and what we keep.

Privacy

No ads. We never sell your data, and we never use your family’s words to train AI. Read the privacy policy, the terms, the cookie notice and our promises. To turn analytics on or off, tap the cog, then Help improve Wamemba me.
